As you may have guessed, I like spending time in the outdoors. I love writing about it, from blogging about it to creating my business www.thatoutdoorgirl.com. That Outdoor Girl wouldn’t exist without my wonderful 7 year old boy. In 2008 I nearly lost him to meningitis and in a bid to raise money for the hospital that saved his 10 day old life, I ran the New York Marathon in 2009. A career in Personal Training followed which developed in to getting others fit and healthy in the outdoors. Combined with my love of writing, I have written sport related and other articles for Loaded magazine, The Cardiff Times and VW Bus T4 & T5.
